Could the 2016 Elections affect your investments?

In client meetings and conversations throughout the past several weeks and months, the impact of the election has been a hot-button issue—especially in regard to what, if anything, clients should do with their portfolios. With the election less than 2 weeks away and questions about the election’s outcome, I thought I would offer some insight from a planning perspective, not a political perspective. Keep in mind that portfolios should be allocated based on a client’s time horizon, risk tolerance and investment objectives, not just on specific events.
