Alera Group Launches 2022 Cohort of Women’s Mentorship Program

Program’s Third Year Marks Continued Growth, Develops Leaders Across the Country

Alera Group, a top independent, national insurance and wealth services firm, today launched its 2022 Women’s Mentorship Program cohort.

The Women’s Mentorship Program was designed to develop future leaders, impart new skills and help women grow more quickly in their careers. Launched in 2020, more than 100 colleagues have participated in the program to date.

This year, the Women’s Mentorship Program will unite more than 35 internal Alera Group colleagues with mentors across the country, helping them to develop professional skills and further create career paths for leaders within the organization.

“Women in insurance historically have held significant numbers of entry-level roles, yet representation significantly drops off when looking at executive level roles. We want to help change that,” said Debra Martinez, Chief Human Resource Officer at Alera Group. “Through the Women’s Mentorship Program, we are helping to develop the industry leaders of tomorrow.”
