GCG Hardly Riders Support the Rare Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for the Second Straight Year

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is the world’s largest and oldest private cancer center. For more than 130 years, Memorial Sloan Kettering has provided exceptional patient care, innovative research, and outstanding educational programs.

Each year, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center sponsors Cycle for Survival to raise money for rare cancers. Approximately 50% of people with cancer are battling a rare cancer, including brain, pancreatic, stomach, ovarian, and thyroid cancers; leukemia and lymphoma; all pediatric cancers; and many others. Every dollar raised funds pioneering research.

On February 2015, the “GCG Hardly Riders,” with the support of corporate sponsors, attended this 5-hour spin class, helping Cycle for Survival raise over $24.9 million across the nation.
