David Levitz, President of Employee Benefits at GCG Financial, LLC, is responsible for the Group Benefits division. David oversees GCG’s group medical and ancillary business which includes dental, life, disability and all voluntary lines of coverage offered thru employers. David’s technical expertise allows him to help businesses and organizations deal with the complexity and uncertainty that exists in today’s benefits marketplace. David is a frequent speaker on Health Care Reform and spends much of his time working with businesses to help them understand the impact of health care reform, ACA and other legislative and industry changes. David joined the Denver-based Preferred Financial Planning firm where he developed a thorough knowledge of the insurance and investment business. In 1984, David moved back to Chicago and joined GCG where he expanded his expertise to include estate and business planning strategies prior to being named President of GCG’s Employee Benefits Division in 2004. David is active in numerous charities and civic organizations. He is a MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) Foundation Knight. (The MDRT Foundation works to increase volunteerism and provide funds to worthy charities worldwide). David is a past President of the Deerfield, Bannockburn and Riverwoods Chambers of Commerce and currently is on the Executive Committee of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Council. David has earned a Life Membership in the MDRT and is a past qualifier of MDRT’s Court of the Table and Top of the Table awards. In 2006, David earned the Samuel R. Weems award. This award is given out by Securian Financial Services to the person who has made an outstanding contribution to the MDRT. David is currently a member of several professional organizations, including NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and NAHU (National Association of Health Underwriters). David is a past President of the North Branch CALU (Chicago Association of Life Underwriters) and a Registered Representative, Investment Advisor Representative and Principal of Triad Advisors, LLC. David is married with two children and devotes quality time to family life. When time permits, David is an avid golfer, skier and sports enthusiast.
