Jesse Pleuss, MBA, CBC
Jesse joined GCG in 2005, bringing more than 16 years of employee benefits expertise to his clients. Jesse helps corporations and school districts with the implementation of their employee benefit programs. He prides himself on his communication to his clients and their staff to help ensure an understanding of both short- and long-term benefit objectives. Jesse began his career in the insurance industry in 1993 as a District Sales Manager for American Medical Security, which specialized in small group health plans where he consistently led the nation in new business development and retention. Later he took a position with PPO company Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS), where his experience had grown to partner with large national employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators. Jesse has a very deep understanding of the many facets in healthcare services; he prefers to think of himself not as selling insurance, but as partnering with his clients in providing solutions to the costly and complex world of benefits. Jesse is active in many charities and service organizations, including Park Ridge Rotary, St. Paul of the Cross Men's Club, Rawhide Boys Ranch of Wisconsin, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Jesse lives in Park Ridge, Illinois with his wife and two young children. Away from work, Jesse coaches his kids’ hockey, soccer and baseball teams and plays competitive hockey.
