John believes that clients make their best financial decisions within the context of a formal, comprehensive analysis that address all the major aspects of their financial lives. Each new client relationship begins with a thorough examination of the client’s goals and resources. John then helps the client objectively evaluate a variety of potential solutions and clearly explains the “trade-offs” inherent in these financial decisions before any products or services are implemented. Once a plan or strategy is implemented, John believes reviewing and adjusting to the changing needs of his clients is key to protecting their financial future. John is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He is also a two-year winner of the Five Star Wealth Manager award administered by Five Star Professional.
John specializes in working with small to medium-sized businesses and business owners in the selection and implementation of various programs including group health insurance, buy/sell strategies, business continuation, 401(k), pensions and non-qualified retirement strategies. For his individual and family clients he helps with their needs in the areas of insurance, investments*, college funding, estate planning and retirement strategies. In addition, John works separately as a financial planner if his clients desire a comprehensive fee-based financial plan*.
John lives in Lombard, IL with his wife, Katie and their three children, Patrick, Grace and Sean. He enjoys golf, football, basketball, music, and spending time with family and friends.
