Peter has been with GCG since 1991. His practice focuses on helping professionals and executives create and preserve wealth. Peter provides expert insurance and investment strategies for individuals, families and their businesses. He helps clients focus on solutions to their unique circumstances and challenges. Using his knowledge, Peter is able to help clients solve their estate planning, asset management and business succession issues, in addition to providing employee benefits solutions for the businesses they own. Additionally, Peter is accredited as a certified divorce financial analyst and holds a mediation certificate from Northwestern University. He is focused on helping people who are going through difficult transitions, such as divorce or death of a spouse. Among his many industry accomplishments, Peter has achieved perennial membership in GCG's prestigious Black Tie Club. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, which comprises the world's life insurance and financial service professionals. Actively involved in philanthropic work, Peter is Vice President of the Gottstein-Hodes Foundation, a charity that financially helps multiple organizations, and founder of the Leland & Mary Gottstein Continuing Jewish Education Program, which provides funding for Jewish learning. In addition, Peter is an active participant in GCG’s monthly community-giving program. Peter is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time exploring the city of Chicago and travelling with his family. He and his wife live in Deerfield, Illinois with their two children.
